Two tavernas at the beach beach serve lunch or early dinner, while for dinner many guests choose to walk to the picturesque village of Kokkari which takes about 20 minutes and after dinner is a short taxi-ride back.

The beach is a 5 minute walk, though it may be difficult to leave the hotel with the large and well designed freshwater swimming pool and the gorgeous views.

There is also table tennis and an internet corner for those who need a break from relaxation whilst for the really active there is a windsurfing school nearby. There is Wi-Fi access in the living room area (free of charge).

The surrounding area is one of great natural beauty, carpeted with orchids in the spring. Further inland lies a landscape of orchards, pine trees and cypresses set against a dramatic mountain backdrop. Many walking trails criss-cross the island if you wish to walk, or else you can explore the island’s capital, or some of the traditional mountain or coastal villages, monasteries and historical sites. Famous ancient philosophers such as Pythagoras and Aristarchus lived in here in anciernt times.
